Gatlinburg

Well...back in October we went on a weekend get-a-way to Gatlinburg! My brother & his friends from church were going so they graciously invited us along! We had a fabulous time as you can see in some of these silly pictures! We had a great photographer on our trip, Bryan Scarborough...so he was sweet enough to take pictures of each family! Below...the CRAZY FUN CLAN!
The cool, calm & collected clan! :-)

My HOT hubby & myself.

My brother Jeremy & his wife, Lauren & Mason (how cute are they!?)

Football watching was a necessity....too bad the pull out couch was stuck like this! ;-) At least it made a big chair for the games!

If you know me well enough, you know that I love marshmallow fights! I have fond memories of when my brother & I would have our high school friends over and late at night a marshmallow war would occur! Luckily, dad was a deep sleeper, and Mom didn't care...sometimes she would even join in! :-) So...I carry on that tradition 'many a trips' !

Please don't shoot! :-)

Jeremy & Kelly (bro & sis)

So the marshmallow fight must have lasted AT LEAST 30 minutes! We were sweating by the time we finished! The kids (4 boys) love every minute of it. They couldn't believe we adults started this....and came prepared for it! I had 4 marshmallow shooter guns! And at least 4 bags of marshmallows for ammo! :-)

Upstairs in the loft a little team formed! Those of us below got wailed on!
We did absolutely nothing but stay in this chalet all weekend, play games, eat my sister in laws rice krispy treats w/ chocolate on top (oh so good) and relax...it was wonderful! We're grateful we were able to go!

My Work & Mason's 1st Bday!

Thought I would show you who I work with all the time. I work for Perfect Wedding Guide, which is a FREE bridal publication that comes out 3 times a year. The publisher owns the AL franchise, but you can find PWG all over the U.S. We have 7 networking events a year, so I have to get dressed up a lot! (but I am not complaining!) :-) I love shopping for "fun" clothes! So in the above picture there's: yours truly (Account Executive..a.k.a in charge of sales) the Publisher & Owner of Engaged A Wedding Library, Stephanie Keith Whitaker, and Katie Burks, Operations Manager of Engaged. We are not discriminatory towards other hair colors :-) we just all happen to have blond hair & blue eyes! How funny is that?! I have fantastic news that I just found out on Friday...our corporate office had a contest for all the sales reps...and I won for our division! Meaning...I FINALLY GET A VACATION!!! :-) and it's FREE! :-) I get a 4day/3 night trip/cruise to somewhere..we don't know the details yet though. I am so pumped! Of course Ryan is too...b/c I get to take one person...lucky for him, I like him! :-)

Below are some photos from our networking events...Ricky Whitley with Borrowed Blossoms did our floral..and I just love it!

In case you didn't know, I have THE MOST ADORABLE NEPHEW IN THE WHOLE WORLD! Well...that's until Eli Andrew Yetman is born in December! Then... I will have TWO of the most adorable nephews in the whole world! :-) This picture of Mason was taken the beginning of October (show's how behind I am) at his 1st Birthday. This was bath time after cake got all over him! And as you can see below he thoroughly enjoyed his first tasting of cake.

I LOVE the fact that it's actually in his nose! :-) The adorable cake was made by Amy Scarborough who goes to church with Jeremy & Lauren. She did an incredible job!

Mason & Uncle Ryan had a good time playing...but when it was sleepy time...Jamie (Cohan) snuggled with Mason & his favorite birthday present from Uncle Ryan & Crazy Aunt Kelly...the adorable talking Yo Gabba Gabba doll! ;-)

So..it looks like Ryan & Lauren had more fun with the toys than the kids!

Lauren decided since Mason's birthday is in the month of October she could put "bubba" teeth in all the kids goody bags! :-) How funny was that...we loved it!

Grandpa Hinote got Mason a cool car to play in & Aunt Kelly HAD to get him a cool shirt! :-)

Joey Burns a friend of Jeremy & Laurens from their church, thought Mason should get started early hunting! :-) Jeremy loved this toy gun!

Grandpa Hinote teaching Mason to play basketball!

Look at that sweet baby boy! He's already a ladies man!

So, as nightly entertainment at the party...Jeremy showed us an episode of "Yo Gabba, Gabba!" The stupidest, but funniest show you will ever watch! You see how enthralled the kids are...she kinda scared us! ;-)

Precious yet again!
